Is my maintenance payment the same as a subscription?
No. In a subscription-based system, you must continue subscribing to continue using the software. This is not a subscription. When you purchase CalMAN, it is yours to continue using forever.
If I have let my maintenance lapse, can I still renew it now?
You can get back in maintenance for a nominal re-instatement fee. Contact your SpectraCal sales professional to get back on a plan.
If I don't pay maintenance, will you cast me to the wolves?
Once you're a CalMAN user, you're our friend forever, and we'll certainly continue taking care of you. We're continuing to support and maintain CalMAN 3.7 and we'll issue new versions of V3 for a long time after most users have switched to V4. |
