Two Day Professional Calibration Seminar
The first day of the course is largely presentation based, with six handson
labs interspersed throughout the day. You will learn about the performance
factors that determine the image quality of displays and projectors and become
familiar with the calibration characteristics of different display technologies,
along with a range of hardware and software that is available to assure
productive and accurate display adjustments. You will walk through a basic video
calibration process, discussing each step that you perform to calibrate basic
display performance factors and produce a customer calibration report.
The second day of the course covers advanced topics and provides extended time
to calibrate multiple display technologies with assistance from experienced
industry professionals, at a number of individual calibration practice stations.
The advance calibration procedures for CMS color gamut and multipoint
grayscale/gamma adjustment are covered. Video processors and calibration
processors are discussed, along with their potential roles in providing higher
quality, more accurately calibrated images for your clients. You will gain
hands-on experience using various color meter and test pattern source hardware,
professional automated calibration software, plus the calibration capabilities
of video processors and dedicated calibration processors.
